Is data drifting unstable with significant fluctuations in numbers?

Is the measurement data inaccurate, leading to errors?

Is the instrument easily affected by temperature, impacting its normal use?

Are imported instruments expensive, but can the performance of domestic ones match that of imported paint thickness gauges?

The coating thickness gauge is one of the most frequently used tools in used car inspections. However, some coating thickness gauges produce readings that deviate from the actual values. Some also lack accuracy in substrate recognition, unable to detect iron powder putty, which seriously affects the accuracy of vehicle inspections and may lead to irreversible losses.

One-stop solution for used car inspection pain points

To address the ongoing challenges faced by used car evaluators and buyers, Qin Du has launched a new generation of smart coating thickness gauges, making vehicle inspections hassle-free for both buyers and evaluators.

1. Fast response in as little as 0.3 seconds, high precision, and better stability
When evaluating cars, quick decision-making is essential. Qin Du's coating thickness gauge uses a high-resolution chip with a response time as fast as 0.3 seconds, providing instant results. It automatically and quickly identifies substrates, ensuring results are provided immediately without delays or lag. The measurement values are precise with no drifting, maintaining a leading response speed in comparison to similar instruments.

Qin Du's coating thickness gauge uses a ruby-wear-resistant probe, selects high-precision chips, and adopts advanced German technology with optimized program algorithms. Its accuracy reaches up to ±(2%+1μm), with enhanced anti-interference capability.

2. Accurate recognition of iron powder putty, galvanized iron, and zero misjudgment of accident cars
The coating thickness gauge not only measures the thickness of the coating layer but also identifies the substrate material of the body or cover parts. Qin Du's coating thickness gauge supports both iron and aluminum use, and in automatic mode, it can accurately recognize iron powder putty, galvanized iron, and non-metallic car bodies.

During the research and development process, the Qin Du R&D team underwent 900 days of development and testing, algorithm upgrades, and 60 days of market testing. Their goal was to ensure that substrates could be accurately identified and the values remained stable without drifting. This allows used car dealers to precisely identify iron powder putty repairs and accident cars during the inspection process, ensuring accurate results with every test and easily solving industry challenges.

Dual-color indicator light alarm

Iron powder putty: Orange indicator light

Under default settings, the upper limit range is 50~200μm. The orange light will be displayed for values within 200μm, and a red light will be shown if the value exceeds 200μm or is below 50μm.

Galvanized iron: Orange indicator light

Under default settings, the upper limit range is 50~200μm. The orange light will be displayed for values within 200μm, and a red light will be shown if the value exceeds 200μm or is below 50μm.

Red indicator light

A red light will be displayed, accompanied by an alarm sound, when the values reach the upper limit or fall below the lower limit.

4. Supports real-time data transmission and online upgrades for smarter functionality
With a wide measurement range of 0~3500μm, it can convert measurements from micrometers to millimeters, making it suitable for factory manufacturing industries as well.

Uses imported chips for quick recognition

Ruby probe for more accurate and wear-resistant measurements

Automatic screen rotation for easier reading

The top choice for purchasing a coating thickness gauge, excellent cost-performance ratio
The balance between performance and price is a dilemma for most people, but who says you can't have both? The Qin Du coating thickness gauge offers outstanding performance and value for money.

Each instrument leaving the factory undergoes multiple layers of inspection, including three levels of calibration (algorithm calibration, production calibration, and user calibration) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of every coating thickness gauge.

It’s worth mentioning that this coating thickness gauge is available in different versions, including automotive, industrial, low-temperature, and Bluetooth models. The low-temperature version can test accurately even in the harsh winters of the northeast.

This product combines features such as minimal measurement error, high reliability, excellent stability, and ease of use, making it an essential tool for vehicle inspectors and used car buyers.

As an integrated enterprise specializing in R&D, production, and sales, Qin Du continuously innovates in the measurement field, keenly observing market demands, and is committed to providing customers with more practical, accurate, and intelligent measurement instruments and solutions.
